ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING – THURSDAY 1-19-2017

Please join us for our annual meeting where we will announce the results of the Board Election and brainstorm our focus for 2017.  Meeting will be held at the StopWaste office at 1537 Webster Street, Oakland 94612. Email us to RSVP, or with any questions you may have.

6:00pm Food and Group Sharing
6:30pm Call to Order & Welcome Members
6:40pm Annual State of NCRA Address (McKaughan)
7:00pm Group brainstorming and input on NCRA areas of priority for 2017

8:00pm Election Committee shares results of recent board election (Marra, Van Deventer)

8:15pm Meeting wrap-up and “green” drinks afterwards at a local watering hole

Annual NCRA Holiday Party! Sunday 12/11 4-9pm

The holidays are here again and the Hanscom family is delighted to once again host the annual NCRA holiday party!

NCRA members, friends and family are welcome to come celebrate with shared laughter, lyrics, libations and luscious food. The party format is potluck, so bring a favorite appetizer, salad, entrée or dessert and your favorite beverage and it will all come together on the dining room table for a buffet feast!
Early rumors are circulating that the NCRA Players will be making an appearance to perform at the party!

The Global Recycling Council of the California Resource Recovery Association invites you to a Zero Waste Brain Trust Workshop

Come join us on the road to Zero Wasting in California!

We will be applying the Zero Waste USA Toolkit to California and then brainstorming how to best initiate a statewide Zero Wasting Plan. Instead of starting with predetermined outcomes, we will use the tools and discussion to identify opportunities, barriers and next steps.
