Zero Waste Education For The Next Generation, 10/23

Our Zero Waste Advocacy Committee Show is joined by two fantastic and enthusiastic educators teaching our next generation about Zero Waste!

We kick off the Show with the Recycling Archives Project featuring Laura Anthony, Founder of Zero Waste San Diego. Together we will listen as Susan Kinsella reads an exciting excerpt of Laura’s interview with Q&A after.

Our featured interview is with Jacqueline Elbing-Omania at Oxford Elementary in Berkeley and former RU speaker Ben Schleifer, Food Program Coordinator at CEH in Oakland. Like the 1970s Crosby, Stills, and Nash song “Teach Your Children Well”, we will hear about making today’s elementary school students into tomorrow’s Zero Waste advocates.
