Annual NCRA Membership Meeting and Board Elections

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Take Muni or BART to the Civic Center Station in San Francisco.
Exit to Hyde and Grove Street stairs. Walk west on Grove street from Market and Hyde.
The office is located across from the San Francisco Main Library.

DRIVING

From highway 101 (Bay Bridge or from South San Francisco) exit the 9th street - Civic Center exit

From the North Bay (Marin County) take the Golden Gate Bridge to 101 south (Van Ness Ave) and then left on Grove.

Board of Directors Meeting 

I.  Call to order and introduction of the 2008 Board of Directors.  Arthur Boone, Paul Ledesma, Dan Knapp, Justin Lehrer, John Moore, Janice Sitton, David Tam, David Toy, Mary Lou Van Deventer 

II.  Minutes of November 2008 meeting.  (5 min)  

III.  Agenda.  Amend and approve.  (5 min)

IV.  Thanks to San Francisco’s Department of the Environment for hosting our meeting! SFE staff will provide an overview of recent work on the potential Recycling and Composting Mandate and provide information on other current SFE projects.  (10 min)

V.   Sharing.  (45 min)  Job announcements come first, job seekers second, then all attendees are invited to share their company or community news for up to 2 minutes each, with no (or little) cross-talk to keep the meeting moving. 

VI. Meet Your Northern California District CRRA Representatives (20 minutes)

California Resource Recovery Association board members David Krueger, Leslie Lukacs and Peter Slote will join us at our January meeting to discuss opportunities for NCRA and CRRA to combine efforts and gain member input. 

VII. NCRA Member Survey Results (30 minutes) Just in time for the annual membership meeting, NCRA Board Members David Toy and Justin Lehrer will present the results of the recent membership survey.

VIII. Action reports & Committee Budget Discussion.  (45 min)  Committee chairs will discuss their activities and issues, and request and discuss budget allocation for committee activities.  Any committee’s issues may be acted on.  Finance - Member Involvement - Zero Waste Infrastructure - Enterprise Support Services - Public Education - Response Team - Legislation and Policy - Communication - Administration - Fundraising - Show/Players
